OutCancer Foundation in association with International Oncology Centre, initiated a campaign on Breast Cancer Awareness.
COMPONENTS OF THE CAMPS:
Two month long campaign, run online and offline.
Breast self examination letters were sent to more than one lakh women across the country
Free Consultation Coupons were given to the females for breast examination by Oncology Doctor.
It also gives an overview of a Mammography and its importance.
Activities done online through face book and offline in malls, RWA’s, Hospitals, Corporate and Banks.
The Pink Walk and Walk for Life, was initiated in Noida and Mumbai.
More than 600 people joined in these walkathon to spread the awareness on Breast Cancer.

OutCancer Foundation, International Oncology Cancer Centre, and Fortis Hospital, Noida organized a ‘The Pink Walk, a-one-of-its kind walkathon, part of a two-month long Pink Letter Campaign initiative to raise awareness about Breast Cancer amongst women worldwide. The 3-kilometre-walk was flagged off by releasing of pink balloons by Mr. Pradeep K Jaisingh -Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, International Oncology and Mr. Sukhmeet Sandhu, Zonal Director, Fortis Hospital at 7:00 am from Fortis Hospital Noida. Women, men from neighborhoods across all age groups in Noida participated in the walkathon and the event focused on educating women on risk of Breast Cancer and benefits of early detection.

Rajan Dhall Hospital, Vasant Kunj. The event was an important step to create awareness and early detection of the disease.

The series of camps kicking off with first one in International Oncology Cancer Centre, Fortis Hospital Noida, will travel PAN India reaching out to as many women as possible. To increase awareness about cancer prevention and diagnosis and removal of taboo of being a cancer patient while highlighting common risk factors and habits that potentially cause cancer, OutCancer organized 2nd Breast Cancer Fighter` s and Survivor`s Meet in association with International Oncology Centre at Fortis Hospital, Noida on 6th October, 2012.
The meet brought together cancer survivors, fighters, supporters and medical practitioners to share their experiences with breast cancer and the road to recovery.

To spread awareness about Breast cancer, the most common cancer killer in urban women, Outcancer Foundation organized a Play “Jab They Met.” on 10th & 11th July 2010 at India Habitat Center. It was a play which contained humor but touched life of breast cancer survivor and emphasized the fact Breast cancer survivors’ live healthy and normal life. Play was arranged by Writer & Director - Sarita Vohra, play-writer, producer and Director of Living Room Theatre.
